As most of you know, I was in a sorority at The University of Alabama. I was a Pi Beta Phi and I had the best of times helping out with our philanthropy, planning social parties, and making friendships that will last me a life time. When I moved to San Antonio, I knew I was going to feel a little out of place since I knew not a single person and I was starting out in adulthood. The first thing I did was reach out to several different sororities in the area to work with and it was so rewarding. I worked with several in the area, but my favorite by far were the girls of Phi Mu at UTSA. I photographed with them several times and I was lucky enough to do their chapter photos. We did them at the Eilan area, which is such a gorgeous area if you ever get the chance to go. It has great restaurants and bars to hang out at! My favorite being George's Keep!
Hope you enjoy these gorgeous girls and the fun times we had. If there are any sororites in the Dallas area (Texas Christian Univeristy / Southern Methodist University), I would absoultely love to work with you! Just head over to my contact page now and submit a form! I look forward to hearing from you!
Friends, I'm back on my blogging game and wow, I'm so happy. I really love being able to share my work, especially when it is one of my favorite sessions like this one. Megan & Josh have been married almost half a year and I'm just NOW putting up their engagement session, but let me tell you, it's worth it. This engagement session is one of my favorites to date! We shot it during the spring last year at the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne, which is just outside of San Antonio, Texas. I love the way the light rendered in these images and how gorgeous they turned out.
Kinda like the engagement session I blogged right before this, I'm telling you, something always happens! So the last one, the dog ran after all the birds into the pond before the engagement shoot and got soaking wet. This time, Josh locked his keys in his truck with everything including their phones, wallets, etc. We had to wait for AAA to come, but it was the best ever, because some of my favorite images were captured while we were waiting.
As most of you know I am a huge Alabama fan and really do love the Crimson Tide. I don't known if it is a curse or a blessing to always work with Aggies! It seems as though He hand pics them for me, just so they can give me a hard time, even though I secretly love it. Aggies have the coolest traditions; one of my favorites is the Aggie ring. Scroll down to see some awesome shots with Megan & Josh's rings.
This is definitely a session you do not want to miss. Check it out and leave some love.

Writing about your best friend is always pretty easy, especially when she's as successful as this girl is. Sidney was always my go to girl during college; always there, by my side, and basically everyone else's side, if they needed her. Sid was always all over the place, all the time. Being a civil engineer was about the hardest thing you could major in in college, but she did it, and she did it with ease. She is now working for HP Civil in her hometown of Dallas, TX and rocking it as always. Sidney was involved in many different organizations in college, but one major one was Pi Beta Phi. She wasn't an ordinary member. She served on Executive Board for two years, one year as Vice President of Housing and one year as PRESIDENT. Let's talk about overachiever!!! I am so thankful to have gotten to know Sidney over the past four years and I am so grateful to have a life-long friend in her. Enjoy her gorgeous graduation session!
