Jessica & Kevin's gorgeous Tuscaloosa wedding was nothing short of the cherry on top for a wonderful year of AMP weddings. They were my last couple for the year and I had so much joy working with them. After getting to know them during their engagement session last spring, I knew I was just going to love them and oh I sure did!
Novemeber 5th was a gorgeous Alabama fall day. No rain in sight and it wasn't too cold, it couldn't have been more perfect. We started the day off at Jessica's childhood home with all her family. I love when a bride chooses to get ready in her house, because you can pull so many childhood memories into the photographs. We went over to the church where Jessica hid away and calmed her nerves before entering the chapel to become Mrs. Jones. I stepped away with the groom and groomsmen to snap a few dapper photos! The ceremony was gorgeous and it gave me all the feels.
But everyone knows, the reception is my favorite part as always. Whether it's dancing to "Uptown Funk" or "Cupid Shuffle", I'm always down to watch the wedding guests have a good time. After lots of dancing, the guests quickly started to realize that the Alabama vs. LSU game was taking priority, so the bride had them turn it on during the reception (MAJOR BRIDE POINTS)! Everyone was so happy and of course the Tide came out with a win. We ended the night with the Alabama fight song and it couldn't have been a better wedding for these two.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Jones!
