When I first started doing photography, I dreamed of my first bride. What would she be like? Young, high-school sweetheart marrying her very first love? A second marriage? I had no idea what she would be like until she came to me. My first bride, Jamie Hoots, was more than I could have ever imagined. Jamie was a friend of a friend that I had met through Alabama and I knew that we were just going to hit it off. We met early in the planning process for a 30 minute dinner, which happened to turn into a 2 hour dinner. I was absolutely in love with her!!
Fast forward a couple of months, I got to shoot the most gorgeous bridal session ever at Flagstone Farm, where Jamie and Evan were to get married a couple months later. Stay tuned for that blog post because you won't want to miss it.
Jamie & Evan's wedding day was so much fun. With the 18 person wedding party, one can be quite overwhelmed, but this party helped make my job so easy. All 16 of the bridesmaids and groomsmen were so helpful throughout the day and were just so happy to see one of their best friends tie the knot. The day was so unbelievably beautiful and every detail was so thought out. The best part, most of them were hand made.
Jamie & Evan: Thank you so much for letting me capture your special day. You two were just so amazing together and your love radiates for everyone to see. I couldn't stop smiling all day long and I felt so welcomed by your friends and family. I am so excited to share some of my favorites from their wedding day! Enjoy!
